Had a great day photographing the City Resilience Symposium 2026 at Artspace

There was plenty going on throughout the day, from keynote speakers and panel discussions to the conversations and interactions happening between sessions.

I really enjoy photographing events like this. You’re not just capturing what’s happening on stage, but all the little moments around it that help tell the story of the day.

Thanks to the Institute of Architects NSW team for having me along to capture it.

I happened to have some spare time to try my new 100mm - 600mm lens with some planespotting at Sydney Airport.

It was a beautiful day and there are multiple locations to get some fun shots.

A few highlights from the opening of Pillow Talk Wetherill Park.

From the first customers coming through the doors to the team behind the scenes, I enjoyed capturing the moments that made up the day.

I like photographing events as they happen, from the big moments to the smaller details that can easily be missed.

Thanks to the Pillow Talk team for having me along to capture the opening. 📸

Had a bit of time between gigs, so I grabbed the 85mm and went for a wander while waiting for my new lens to arrive.

Decided to shoot everything in black and white and just have a bit of fun with it. No brief, no real plan, just looking for things that caught my eye.

Here’s a few of the results.

A few highlights from the 2026 Care Economy Summit at the University of Sydney.

The summit brought together people from across health, aged care and disability to discuss the future of the care economy, including reform, regulation and service delivery.

When I’m photographing an event, I like to capture more than just the people on stage. The speakers and key moments are important, but so are the conversations, reactions, details and little moments happening throughout the day.

Here are a few highlights from the summit.

A room full of the state’s best architects.

It was a privilege to photograph the 2026 Australian Institute of Architects NSW State Awards at City Recital Hall, documenting an evening that celebrated outstanding design, innovation and the people behind it.

From the anticipation before the announcements to the celebrations on stage, every moment tells part of the story.

Congratulations to all the winners, shortlisted projects and everyone involved in making the night such a success.

On the way home from a portrait session in the City a storm cell was passing over the Sydney International Airport.
Initially trying to get lightning, to no avail. However I managed to get these shots, before the rain!

Recently I had the chance to partner with a client at Sydney’s Olympic Park Precinct.
It was a lot of fun especially being on the lookout for different perspectives to showcase the client’s services.

Such a wonderful gorgeous couple Amelia and Vas!
It was a privilege to photograph their recent engagement celebration with their family and friends at Kurnell.
