So we have been growing an Avocado from a seed. I saw it on the window and love how it bends towards the light so decided to take some photos. A little different to the landscapes.

Creature to the sea.

It feels like forever since I last picked up the camera. Life does get busy sometimes. My daughter has also now picked up my old camera and is enjoying photography not sure if she likes the 4am starts though 😉.
I hope everyone is having a great 2020 so far!

This is the best time of the year, it's not to hot or to cold.
But the real reason is that I don't have to get up at silly o'clock to take photos.
I went for a drive to Coolum this morning, wind was very strong so I decided to sit in behind one of the headlands to dull it down a bit which also helped with the seaspray a little.
Just before sunrise I thought I would throw on the 10 stopper and try a long exposure, unsure of the time it was going to take for the sun to come up with the cloud on the horizon it was going to take some guess work for the time to shoot. The app was telling me over 10min but I dropped it back a little and hoped for the best. This is a single exposure that was shot over 8min 30sec. Note to self, turn off Noise Reduction before shooting this unless you want to wait another 8 and a half mins to shoot again :-)

Went for drive in the country yesterday, I was hoping for a little more water running under the bridge but at least the water was clear with nice coloured tannins which help with the reflections. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Up at the crack of dawn with friends to try and catch the SS Dicky Wreck at low tide. With the large storms we had it removed the sand and uncovered the remaining part of the hull. This was a 2min 40sec single shot exposure.
