Back at it pre-dawn photographing on the streets of Singapore this morning.
The landmark Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore was designed by the Singapore-based architectural firm WOHA Architects, led by co-founders Wong Mun Summ and Richard Hassell.
WOHA designed the hotel as a “hotel-in-a-garden,” establishing it as a world-renowned benchmark for biophilic and sustainable high-rise architecture.
The building features dramatic contoured fluid concrete layers inspired by natural rock formations and rice terraces. Over 15,000 square meters of elevated sky gardens, waterfalls, and planter walls are seamlessly integrated directly into the facade.
Designed with passive cooling, rainwater harvesting, solar-powered systems, and high-performance glass to minimize energy consumption.
