❄ Fun fact: Nuuk is one of the world’s smallest capital cities… and in winter it can feel like the whole world has gone quiet.⁣

This photo was taken during heavy snowfall in Nuuk, Greenland, where winter temperatures often sit between -5°C and -10°C, with colder wind chills making it feel even more extreme. Snowfall is common from October through April, and in the darkest part of winter, Nuuk gets as little as 4 hours of daylight a day.⁣

Imagine waking up to this view every morning 🤍⁣

Available as a 12 x 18 inch print. ⁣

A little history behind this scene 🐎⁣

In Petra, horses have long been part of daily life — once used to carry travellers and goods through the ancient city carved into stone by the Nabataeans over 2,000 years ago.⁣

Even today, they remain part of the experience, moving through the same paths that have existed for centuries.⁣

A golden waterfall? A ceiling of stars? Or something a little more unexpected…⁣

Sometimes the best travel moments aren’t about where you are, but how you see it. A shift in perspective and suddenly the ordinary turns into something a little bit magical.⁣

A bit of history behind these boats 🚣‍♂️⁣

In Dhaka, rivers have always been the lifeblood of the city. For centuries, wooden boats like these have been used for transport, trade and daily commuting — long before roads took over.⁣

Even today, they’re still everywhere. Moving people, goods, and keeping that connection to the water alive.⁣

A couple of locals from Mongolia 🐎⁣

Fun fact: Horses outnumber people in Mongolia — there are actually more than 13 times as many horses as humans.⁣

They’re not just animals here either… they’re transport, culture, history, and everyday life all rolled into one.⁣

Also, Mongolian horses are tough — they can survive extreme temperatures and travel long distances without much fuss.⁣

This place isn’t just beautiful — it’s actually good for you 🤍⁣

The Blue Lagoon’s geothermal water is rich in minerals like silica and sulfur, known to help support skin health and leave it feeling incredibly soft.⁣

A little history behind these 🚲⁣

Rickshaws first appeared in Asia in the late 1800s and quickly became a common way to move through busy streets. In places like Indonesia, they’ve been part of daily life for generations — carrying people, goods, and stories through the city.⁣

Over time, many have been replaced by motorbikes and cars… but you still find them like this, resting between rides.⁣

Shot in Pontianak, Indonesia.
