Some family moments are worth waiting years for.
This one had my eyeballs sweating only 10 minutes into the session. š„¹ This gorgeous family is spread across the country and around the world, so having everyone together at Dicky Beach for the first time in many years was nothing short of incredibly special.
And their love for each other? You could feel it from the moment we started.
The hugs were tighter. The laughs came easily. The kids were surrounded by grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins who donāt get to share everyday life together.
It was one of those sessions where I found myself thinking, this is exactly why I do this.
Because when life is lived across different cities and countries, the ordinary moments of being together suddenly become anything but ordinary.
So we slowed down, soaked it in, making space for it all ā the cuddles, the chaos, the laughter, the little moments between the big ones. We celebrated this family exactly as they are, while they were all together in one place. And I feel incredibly lucky that I got to preserve a little piece of it for them.
