It was a fantastic day for shooting panoramas with Madeline on Saturday around Newcastle. Madeline had some one-on-one coaching with us using her Nodal Ninja 6 Arca Premium kit. Six hours, two theory and 5 locations followed by a glass of wine to celebrate a successful day. 🥂

A moody Freycinet National Park, Tasmania. 2023.

It would be easy to confuse this place with Bay of Fires, given the bright orange rocks (which is actually formed by lichen). On the far side of the mountains in the background, lies Wineglass Bay, and the mountain on the left is Mt Amos (the one I climbed to get the shot posted a few days ago.

This photo was taken during a location scouting drive, again on the Samsung S23+. As it turns out, these were the better conditions to take the shot, and the images taken with the dslr did not make the grade. I might learn a lesson one of these days to just shoot with the camera.
