A tractor ride with Dad last week before heading home for tea, a bath and bed. An unintentional but perfectly time to stop and refill the air seeder box as the sun was setting 👌🏻

Sowing season means early starts and late knock-offs and sometimes the only moments together are meal deliveries, a few runs up and back in the tractor or a quick FaceTime.

Mallee harvest wrapped up at the end of November, luckily just before the rain.

It was touch and go waiting for trucks to return after a hold up at the grain receival and a sausage bag that was full.

Thankfully they got the job done with enough time to blow down the headers, cart some more grain, seal up some grain bags and relax with a cold drink and a BBQ for tea.

Now we are patiently waiting for the canola down south to be ready to go!

I've been busy capturing other farmers canola and nearly forgot to take some photos of our own before it finished flowering.

So here's a canola photo with what seems to be one of my favourite trees in the paddock (also the closest to photograph)
