How lucky am I to have friends that make the cutest babies and trust me with capturing their very first photos as a family ❣️
A big part of why I love what I do is knowing that these photos are so much more than images for social media. One day, when they’re grey and old, they’ll be able to pull these photographs out and be taken right back to this season of life. The sleepy newborn cuddles, the tiny fingers and remembering how it felt to become parents for the first time.
Photos aren’t just for today, they’re for the version of us that exists decades from now, and for the generations that come after us. They become proof that these moments happened, that these people were loved, and that this chapter of life was lived. Whether it’s a professional photo session or a camera roll full of iPhone photos, documenting your life matters. The ordinary moments we think we’ll never forget somehow become the ones we miss the most.
Being trusted to preserve a little piece of someone’s story is something I’ll never take for granted. I feel incredibly lucky to play a small part in creating memories that can be held onto, shared and treasured for generations to come ✨
