Exactly three decades ago, world got just little bit dimmer for me. I lost my father, Slobodan, affectionately referred to as Sidžim. He was a structural engineer and a mathematical wizard, possessing a profound passion for science, art forms like photography, cinematography, poetry, theatre, and a particular fondness for classical music.
Above all, he embodied empathy—a truly vital quality. He cherished all people, regardless of their stature in life, but his family held the most special place in his heart.
A true bohemian at heart, if you found him in a pub (kafana), you could be sure of a delightful time.
He is the reason I’ve developed a deep love for photography, music, and science in my own life.
My father remains my greatest inspiration.
In this photograph, he is captured in his element: immersed in the lab, anticipating the results of a concrete tests while engrossed in writing and listening to classical music.

Those we love don't go away,

This was my very special 10th blood donation.

This donation is dedicated in memory of our beloved friend
Jasmina Arsenovic, who sadly passed away last Saturday after her courageous battle with cancer. May she rest in peace 🖤.

On today’s day 30 years ago we landed to Wellington, New Zealand. This beautiful country and amazing people gave us opportunity for a new start. Coming back to Wellington today is our way to say thank you for everything. ❤️
