This week I had the pleasure of photographing official player portraits for the Port Melbourne Chargers Football Club.

While it’s easy to focus on lighting, posing, and composition, what stood out most was the character of the players — from emerging talent to seasoned leaders, each brought something uniquely personal to the frame.

Portrait sessions like these go beyond the image. They’re about representing identity, pride, and the culture of the club. Grateful to be trusted with telling a small part of their story through the lens.
