My first ever photography location.

This little pocket of bushland has been with me since the very beginning. Long before the studio, the sets, and everything VK has become, this was my safe place to create.
So many of my first sessions happened here, and over the years it's held countless memories, growing families, baby bumps, engagements, laughter, tears, and moments that can never be recreated.
It'll always be more than just a location to me. It's where my journey began, and no matter how much my business grows, this beautiful little secret garden will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've been lucky enough to watch this beautiful little girl grow, but this session held an extra special secret. 🤍
She wasn't just smiling for the camera... she was proudly keeping the biggest little surprise of all.
Soon, she'll be stepping into her newest role: Big Sister.
As her Aunty Cassie, my heart couldn't be happier for our family. I already know she's going to be the most loving, protective big sister, and I can't wait to meet the newest little member of our crew.

Years of “one day” conversations… and now here we are.
Photographing a friend as she steps into motherhood feels incredibly full-circle.
I chose black and white because there’s nothing to distract from the strength, the softness, the power, she looks absolutely incredible.
