I love how my phone decides to remind me about special moments in my life. Yes, that is me and the super talented along with the Canon Collective crew during a visit to back in 2018.

We had access to some incredible glass that weekend! It also marked the weekend I went fully manual on my 5DIV and never looked back. Not long after I made the decision to pursue formal study for a photography degree.

It’s funny what you remember 😆 this memory is priceless.

July 7 - Fave Place …

I’ve been here every day this week and couldn’t be happier! Most of it has been in support of the master printer workshop running within QCA Print, but tomorrow I am in work mode doing campus tours as a Student Ambassador.

I’m super lucky to be teamed up with some incredible students from the Conservatorium and the Griffith Film School as we share our love for our courses & campuses to encourage students to for University study.

July 5 - Wall

Now that’s a wall! It’s great to be able to pop into Jeff Gibson’s ‘Countertypes’ exhibition at when I’m on campus.

‘Pictopoesis’ is aa wallpaper installation derived from an ongoing project where Gibson appropriates online imagery to build imaginative typologies.

My uni year will end with a huge graduation show where we get to show off our talents to all & sundry. To say it’s a big thing is an understatement!

To prep for the exhibition, we work away for a year creating a body of work with a strong conceptual basis grounded in contemporary art theory and practice.

Which kinda means it’s a year of head down and work for me… glad I’ve chosen flowers as a basis for exploring how our sense of vision alters our perception of the world. But that’s probably no surprise for those who know me!

July 3 - Human

It’s been my pleasure to photograph some wonderful humans over the past few years but nothing is better than capturing people while sharing their passion with others. Whether its a singer mid-chorus, a model striking the perfect post or an artist talking shop with others… they are all so fascinating to capture.

I’ve been lucky to put my skills to use of late within the QCA Print Studios as we host a series of afternoons discussing and learning about various facets of print culture. Last weekend, we had and the team from Chris Hagen & Claudia Husband sharing their knowledge of lithography. It was fun to hang out with this talented crew and soak up a bit of their knowledge.

If you are keen to hear more about what is coming, follow along on and - some exciting projects are in the works!

But in the meantime, I’ll just enjoy these ones …

July 1 - Reflection

Mirrors have been featuring heavily in my photographic play for a while now. I love the diffraction and doubling that occurs within the image.

If you are keen to see the full image, pop up to my stories.

I’ve been taking time for all of these things of late. Sleeping in, wearing my PJs all day and meeting friends for lunch are not things I’ve been able to do too often this year. It’s nice to be on uni holidays for a few weeks! It also gives me time to revisit the myriad of images I’ve been creating.

Grateful for my fur babies. And no, Zed is not allowed on the leather lounge but when he is this cute and has his pillows spread out just right, then it seems a shame to shift him.

Well it’s been a hot minute or two since I last shared! Life got a little busy & I needed the silence & space.

has chosen June to be gratitude month so it seems appropriate to join & dip my toes back into posting.

So today I was grateful for a sunny day, a great PT session & an afternoon with my amazing hairdresser.

Life is good. 🙏🏻

Last night I did a photo workshop that was a bit different to my usual and it reminded me how much I love studio photography and the interaction that comes from working with a model. It was incredible to watch Steven go through his moves on a pole. He showed us a wide range of techniques, giving us some insight into what it takes to be proficient in both the skill of pole work and the ability to repeat the motion multiple times for our cameras to help us create some spectacular images!

Huge thanks to for being our model and to Andrew and the team from & for hosting us.
