Some seasons of life ask more of us than we ever expected. 🤍
These photos were taken when beautiful little Eloka was just over 2 weeks old. A morning filled with quiet cuddles, gentle forehead kisses and soaking in every little moment as a family of three.
Just two days later, life threw this beautiful family an unexpected challenge.
Jacob was involved in a football accident that left him with a broken leg and surgery ahead. Suddenly, those precious newborn days looked very different to what they had imagined.
Looking back at these images now, they feel even more special.
The way Jacob looks at his precious girls.
The tiny fingers wrapped around Mum and Dad.
The calm before life changed in an instant.
But through it all, one thing has remained so clear…
Love has a way of carrying you through.
And so do the incredible people around you.
This past week has been a beautiful reminder that it really does take a village. To everyone who has shown up with meals, lifts, helping hands, cuddles for Eloka and endless support. Your kindness has allowed this little family to simply focus on each other.
These images are more than newborn photos. They’re a reminder of where this chapter began, of a love that was already so deep, and of the strength that has carried them through.
