There’s something so special about little moments spent in nature. 🤎🌿

As much as I love capturing the joy of kids on swings and slides, there’s a special kind of magic in letting them explore, climb, collect little treasures and simply be kids.

This gorgeous boy, with a handful of leaves and a favourite tree to climb, is everything I love about childhood photography. The curiosity, the adventure, the cheeky little smiles and those fleeting moments of wonder that we wish we could bottle up forever. 🍂✨

Because childhood isn’t just about the big milestones. It’s in the muddy hands, the leafy treasures, the trees climbed and the little adventures that become the memories we hold closest to our hearts.

And those are the moments I love capturing most. 🤍

A big thank you to Cornubia Early Learning for inviting us to photograph at your beautiful centre! 🦜 Thanks to everyone for your patience as we worked around a little bit of Queensland rain, thankfully we got there in the end.
We loved this centre, it has the best staff, happy little faces running around, animals and the most awesome spaces for children to explore, play and connect with nature.
At Two Hearts, we absolutely love seeing childhood celebrated this way, full of curiosity, adventure and little moments of wonder. We're so grateful to have been invited here to capture your precious memories.

Well… apparently AI knows Gail too! 😂

After yesterday’s post about my very glamorous and suspiciously well-rested AI version, it was only fair that Gail got one too.

And honestly… they nailed her.

…and apparently a magpie who has also been put in charge of everything. 😂

While I’m usually the one behind the camera making friends with the kids, Gail is the one behind the scenes keeping the wheels turning.

She sorts the bookings, the details, the photo days and, more importantly…
the kids, the support act that talks the kids through what's going to happen so they are relaxed and ready when its their turn to be photographed.

Two Hearts really is a two-woman team. One with a camera, one with a clipboard, and both powered by a whole lot of heart. ❤️

Well… apparently AI knows me pretty well 😂 Quite Scary really!

I saw a friend do this on her page and thought, why not? So I asked ChatGPT to create a cartoon mascot based on what it knows about me, my personality and a photo of me.

And honestly… it’s pretty accurate. 😂

A crazy Staffy somewhere in the chaos ✔️
Probably running on coffee ✔️
Trying to keep everything organised… mostly successfully ✔️😂

Although I would like to formally complain about one thing…

I have absolutely no idea who this fresh, rested-looking woman is. 😂
Clearly AI has given me the younger holiday version of myself!

But the biggest thing I love is that the little details actually feel like me — the camera, the dog, the slightly chaotic mum life and, of course, the heart.

Because behind Two Hearts Photography, I'm just a mum who loves kids, loves photography and loves creating a photo day where little people feel safe, comfortable and genuinely themselves. ❤️

And now I'm wondering… should we make a Gail version too? 😂

Okay Queensland… are we calling it spring now? 😂🌸
We’ve had winter, a summer heatwave, a few beautiful spring days and then a random icy wind thrown in for good measure!
But I think we might finally be there. 💕
The mornings are beautiful, the light is soft and golden, and the kindy kids are bringing all the smiles, giggles and personality.
And just like that, Term 3 is almost done and we're already booking into 2027!
Our calendar for next year is filling earlier than ever, so if your kindy has been thinking about photos for 2027, we'd love to hear from you. 🥰
Because the best kindy photos aren't just about a pretty backdrop… they're about capturing who they are, right now. ❤️
