Hi, I’m Caitlyn! 🌼

My love for photography began back in Year 9 in 2014, and what started as an interest quickly grew into something I knew I wanted to pursue. I went on to study a Bachelor of Arts (Photography) at RMIT University and graduated in 2021.

Since then, photography has continued to be a huge part of my life, and I’m now excited to grow my own photography business and capture special moments for others. 📸

I’m open to all kinds of photography — from family, couples, maternity and events, to landscapes, architecture and real estate. Whether it’s a milestone you want to remember, a special celebration, your growing family, or simply a beautiful moment worth capturing, I’d love to be behind the camera.

I’m based in Shepparton/Mooroopna and am happy to travel for sessions and events when requested.

Outside of photography, I’m a wife and mum to our beautiful little girl. Being a mum has made me appreciate even more how quickly these little moments pass, and how special it is to have photographs to look back on.

My photography pages are only just getting started, but I’m so excited for what’s ahead — meeting new people, exploring new places and, most importantly, capturing many more memories along the way.

Throwing back to a photo-essay I created in 2021.

‘Left To Rot’ explores the effects of the pandemic on the
agricultural industry, with a specific focus on orchards around the Greater Shepparton region of Victoria. Due to the closure of borders the workforce of the agricultural industry – most often backpackers – was unable to enter the country, leading to fruit and vegetables being left to rot on the farms.

CYANOTYPE

A cyanotype is handcrafted photographic print made using sunlight. The result is a stunning deep-blue image with a timeless, artistic look. This process combines photography and science.

Usually these images would be washed with distilled water, I wanted to experiment with how different water would react to the cyanotype paper. I collected water from all of the bodies of water that I photographed and then used that water to wash the print. Doing so led to slight visual changes within the final prints.
