After 23+ years behind the camera, Iโve made the decision to officially retire from photography as a business.
Photography has given me more than I could ever put into words, incredible experiences, thousands of memories, a career I built from the ground up and, most importantly, some truly beautiful friendships that started simply because someone once booked me to take their photos.
To every person who has trusted me with their family, their business, their wedding, their babies, their milestones or simply themselves, thank you. You allowed me to make a living doing something I genuinely love for more than two decades, and I will never take that for granted.
A little important housekeeping:
๐All existing bookings will absolutely be honoured.
๐ All current valid gift vouchers can still be redeemed.
๐ I will simply no longer be accepting any new photography bookings from this point forward.
And noโฆ Iโm not putting the camera away.
I don't think I could if I tried. Photography is so deeply ingrained in the way I see the world that asking me to stop would be like asking me to rip out my eyeballs.
But for the first time in a very long time, I get to pick up my camera simply because I want to.
While my attention is now turning towards a completely new career chapter for myself & my family, this page isn't going anywhere.
Iโll still be here, and Iโll still be sharing photography, just in a slightly different way.
Expect photographs taken simply for the love of creating, along with hints, tips, things Iโve learned over the past 23+ years, behind-the-scenes knowledge and plenty of creative inspiration.
I want this space to become somewhere I can share my love of the craft without the pressure of running a photography business.
