I took about 10 frames on Monday morning, first time getting the camera out to fire off a few frames in months.

This one of my son Ryan is my favourite :)

It's been a while between drinks (posts!) here, as I have had limited opportunities to take photos for myself as of late.

Thankfully the appetite is somewhat satisfied however with the timelapse content we create at work at Blackbox - Australia's Leading Timelapse Photography. We have cameras installed on construction, commercial, mining and engineering projects all over Australia, but every now and then it is nice to create content of our own, like the current one we are working on in Lamington National Park.

This is a small behind the scenes sample from out Instagram () that I thought I would share with you all :)

Finally managed to briefly dust off the camera to capture a few of the autumn colours in the New England Tablelands.

Counting down until winter and hopefully plenty of snow too!

This lone tree at Brighton, north of Brisbane is only 100m from the old Hornibrook Bridge remains. Time your visit well with a high tide and a sunrise or sunset and you're onto a winner :)

Dawn in Brisbane from the base of Kangaroo Point. I pulled this one out of the archives, from back in the day when I shot long exposures with a B+W Schneider 10 stop screw on filter. Have to say using Lee Filters is much more convenient now :)

Fingal Head at dawn. This place always puts on a good show!

For the history buffs, the lighthouse on the headland was constructed in 1878, still going strong after 138 years.

Day two of seven, featuring a few of my favourite images from recent times.

This image was taken at Fingal Head, a long exposure with a little mirroring of the rocks.

Today I nominate Joshua Morton Photography to share one of his favourite images each day for the next 7 days.

Beau from Baseplate Photography has nominated me to share seven images over seven days from my portfolio, and nominate a photographer for the same thing each day. I'll be digging through the archives to find some interesting images to post :)

The first image comes from under the Sir Leo Hielscher Bridges (formerly Gateway) in Brisbane, complete with Boat and Plane trails.

Today I am nominating Matt Palmer Photographer to do the same, sharing seven images over seven days.

Greeted by a fairly drab sunrise without colour, I quickly reassessed my shooting location to capture a long exposure of the sea and cloud cover to add a little drama to the scene.
