They began as two strangers working on the same property in the NT. Now they have a home, fur babies, a wedding in the very near future and their beautiful bundle of perfection.

We spent a beautiful autumn afternoon on their property surrounded by many fur and feathered babies but when you’re a vet and vet nurse, nothing less is expected! It was just perfection… The two fur stars of the show being their golden labs, Texas and Dakota! Texas was their first baby and has stared in all moments of their lives for the last 8 years- he’s the definition of the best boy! Little Dakota only being a young lass herself is just full of beautiful lab energy- just happy with life itself. Little Lanie is such a lucky girl to have the best older siblings.

Hi everyone,

Tayla’s & Tom’s love story started when they were both working in a pizza shop. Tayla shortly after left to travel and live overseas for a while and that was when Tom knew he just couldn’t be away from her and Tayla knew she couldn’t be away from him retuning early from her adventures abroad. I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Tayla when I was a fresh faced 20 year old walking into the Year 4 classroom next door, ready to take on a permission to teach placement in my final year of uni. Tayla was only a first year teacher herself and was fully thrown in the deep end, as not only being a first year teacher herself she was also helping me and I can not thank her enough for getting me through. I have now had the pleasure to be able to watch her and Tom get married and soon to welcome their first little girl into their family. If anyone is meant to be parents it is definitely these two!
