If you run an air bnb or holiday accommodation business then you need to ensure you property is up fire safety standards.

One of the most overlooked standards is including a set of EVAC plans in your main rooms.

If you guests can not see an EVAC plan then you might be liable if there is an emergency or fire.

We provide a number of EVAC fire plan services in and around the Bass Coast area.

Option 1: We come out on site and draw your plan up and provide you with a set of plans ($279 for 5 rooms)

Option 2: You send your floor plan to us with instructions and we remotely complete your EVAC plans. $129 for 5 rooms.

Option 3: DIY - We can supply you with our photoshop template and instructions- download our templates from $39

You can print and laminate our plans or if you want a more professional look We can also provide you with printed plans, framed options and other PVC printed placard versions.

Have you ever wondered about that boat anchored near Tooradin airfield?

Well..... Here is the story as reported on the National Ship Wreck Databse

'In the early 1970′s, father-son team William & Ray Curtain ran a small shipping company, purchasing a larger vessel to add to their tiny fleet – The Edwina May. They moored her in shallow waters off Tooradin next to the Airfeild, where they worked on restoring her and added a 6m section to her hull. However Christmas Day 1974 saw the Ray (The son) stationed in Darwin, as Cyclone Tracy hit, alone on the boat he was captaining, Ray attempted to battle the storm, but both he and the ship were lost at sea, with the wreck only being found in May 2004.

The boat they both worked on never was finished, William Curtain never returned to his project with his son since his son’s death. The ship still lies there in the shallows, water lapping at it, rust eating slowly towards its inevitable complete decay as the sea reclaims it'.

'The Edwina May owned by William Maxwell Curtain, was restoring this ship here near the airport, he could not find any other suitable place to work on her.
He managed to add a 6 meter section, in the middle to make her longer, then tragically his son who helped him with building boats was killed while on board another of their boats the Darwin Princess in cyclone Tracey December 25 1974. His body was never found. Max never finished the restoration and here it lies still, in the mangroves.

Legend has it that people driving past have often thought they have seen someone on board' (Wilson, 2012).
