Shanerussellphotography Port Stephens based landscape photographer Shane Russell is an Australian fine art landscape photographer based in Port Stephens NSW Australia.

Having grown up in Port Stephens with the world’s best coastline at his fingertips, whilst being only a short drive from the hunter valley, Shane has been witness to the many changing facets of the environment in which he lives. From here he has developed a fascination and admiration for his surroundings. This is where Shane’s passion for landscape photography stemmed from as he strived to capture

the many different moods that make up his beautiful environment. Up at the crack of dawn to capture the suns first rays of light, and staying out until night to capture beautiful sunsets all to find that one perfect photograph. Shane’s photography's so unique and breathtaking, his dedication to his work is clearly evident but as a photographer, this is what he strives for – to capture and display nature at its finest.

Hi, I don't want to ALARM anyone that follows my brothers Photography Pages by posting his beautiful work without a note from me,
For those that aren't aware my brother Shane, the name & face behind Shanerussellphotography sadly passed away on the 13th April 2025.
Shane's passing was something very unexpected and its taking us some time to Navigate such a HUGE loss in our family. Shane was extremely talented, and photography was a very big part of his life, Shane has photographed some amazing images ones only some of us would dream of capturing, in his memory & to display more of his amazing photography I will be the care taker of his Instagram & his Shane Russell photography page, this is extremely important to me as his sister and us as a family to keep his beautiful work circulating, thousands upon thousands of unseen images, beautiful landscapes he was able to enjoy whilst doing something he absolutely loved. so please don't be alarmed if you see his name, his face & his beautiful photos as your scrolling through your socials.
instead love & appreciate them just like we will be please like & share as often as you would like too
