I usually spend my time chasing wildlife.

Last night, I tried chasing a story instead.

No dramatic skyline. No famous landmark. Just a dark laneway, a willing volunteer from the workshop, and an idea that seemed worth exploring.

Photography has a funny way of pushing you outside your comfort zone. Sometimes the shots you almost don’t take end up teaching you the most.

Some birds demand your attention with bright colours or dramatic displays.

This little robin does the opposite.

It sits quietly, waits patiently, and somehow still becomes impossible to ignore.

Photography has taught me that some of the best moments aren’t the loudest ones. They’re the small moments that most people walk straight past.
