Celebrating HER and Culture though pregnancy

I was lucky enough to bring this vision to life once again with . A beautiful celebration of Aboriginal culture, connection, and the journey into motherhood.
Two things I will always be passionate about capturing and celebrating.

I took so long editing this post because I HAD to choose the right song (and of course the song I wanted to use wasn’t on Instagram).

From my research this song is about “hurting.” The song is about the pain caused to the ocean and country through environmental damage. It reminds us that we come from the sea and land and have a responsibility to protect and care for it. I feel like this resonates in a way to the fact that we need to nurture our land and ocean just like we need to nurture women in pregnancy.

Anyways, show some love to this amazing mumma🫶🏻🤌🏼

BEFORE vs. AFTER - Underwater Maternity Photography

Editing underwater photography is a whole other world.. seriously. You have to understand how the water changes skin tones, light, colour and contrast and then basically reverse everything the water does while still keeping the image true to your style.

I actually find it crazy the difference editing can do to a photo😮‍💨

All I can say is.. Beauty in Pregnancy

I honestly could not NOT share this to my page. I know I have been in my bright and bold era BUT there’s a part of me that will always love the moody vibes.

Pregnancy can be so hard and overwhelming at times that you forget to slow down and truly take it all in (trust me I know, I didn’t fully realise this all 3 of my pregnancies👀).

This photoshoot is your reminder to pause and take in what is happening to you. The changes your body is going through to create life. Appreciate the journey.
