Our 9th World Breastfeeding Week Annual Photo Collective ✨
This year, like every year, we gathered on the steps of the iconic Rockhampton Customs House to celebrate the incredible parents who nourish their babies with their bodies, their time, their energy and their whole hearts.
Breastfeeding and chestfeeding is more than feeding. It’s connection, comfort, nourishment and resilience.
Behind every breastfeeding journey is a parent who deserves to be seen, supported and celebrated.
In Australia, 96% of mothers begin breastfeeding, yet by six months only around a third are exclusively breastfeeding. This isn’t about parents not trying hard enough. It’s about building the support systems families need to thrive.
And this beautiful collective is about community. 🤍
100% of the money raised through these photos goes directly to Freedom of Feeding FUND, helping us provide $50 grocery vouchers to families who need a little extra support to put food on the table and make ends meet. When funding allows, we also bring our community together for free BBQs throughout the year.
Because when we support one another, we all thrive.
