Day 1
Dubai - Milan
Awesome flights today the flight was delayed due to traffic but the pilot made up some time in the air. The crew who sat in front of us at take off were so lovely the lady even got us a drink before anyone else and checked on us regularly as her friends. Had some great laughs!
Met some more aussies doing the Dolomites on a motorbike tour, NZers on their honeymoon & a couple from Sydney on their 20th anniversary.
After 30 hours travelling and only a rough 6 hours sleep, we managed to retrieve our luggage 🥳, catch a train,then a taxi to our hotel. Checked in and our room is lovely we are only a few blocks from the cathedral. Mission was food drinks and bed by 7pm (3am at home)
A slice of pizza is all I ordered and OMG it was huge! So got a take away container and gave it to a guy doing it rough.
Bullzeye & Spidey made it and missing Elliott so much already.
We can’t function well so it’s shower time and sleep for us….
