In June of 2012, heaven gained another angel; 10 month old Zayden Veal-Whitting.
As the baby boy and his family lay sleeping, a vile monster broke into their home; a petty thief, high and looking to support a growing drug habit.
The beautiful little boy stirred in this sleep while his home was being ransacked, and as a result was murdered callously.
Zayden's family describe and remember him as a bright, happy baby, and as such want to keep his memory alive by creating a playspace that is as equally as bright and happy. Their project "Where Angels Play" playground is set to be built at Lake Neangar in Eaglehawk Victoria.
The family has been fundraising since mid 2014, and have currently raised just over $13,000 toward their goal.
