11 years with this bag.
When I bought it, I excitedly showed this cool guy at work, and he gave me a disappointingly nonchalant shrug.

I spent nearly 8 years with the DSLRs.
And 15 years with the 50mm!

Moving onto new things, and yeah, it's pretty exciting.

New, except for... the same cool guy from 11yrs ago is no longer shrugging at my camera bag, but setting me up with all the goods to go into it. 👏🏻 🔴

Had the pleasure of photographing the Skills Insight launch of their 2026-2027 workforc plan held at the Fairfield campus of Melbourne Polytechnic.

Minister Andrew Giles launched the event and speeches were made by the Skills Insight CEO and Board Chair, as well as the CEO of Melbourne Polytechnic.

Melbourne Polytechnic has such a wonderful campus in Fairfield. We had the chance to explore the greenhouses, nurseries and the very impressive arborist training grounds.

Mami Ikeda 池田真美 bringing life & energy in front of the camera. I loved hearing Mami's story and working together.

Mami joined me in the studio for my colour series. I've been exploring using colour filter gels to create different background tones in-camera.

We're living in an increasingly neutral world, and while a neutral background has a place, this series shows that colour (bright or soft) has a power in portraiture too.
