Please let me introduce myself! My name is Kayla, and I am a family, lifestyle, maternity and nature photographer. I love natural light and photographing in the outdoors. I'm an Aussie girl, living in the beautiful Redlands, QLD and get to call the beautiful suburb of Redland Bay my home. Photography has always been my passion, and when I am behind the camera, I truly feel like I am doing what I h

ave always meant to do. My husband and I have two beautiful children who are our absolute pride and joy whom I regularly annoy with my camera! I love all things vintage and pastel colours and I feel like that reflects through my editing style. I ALWAYS have my camera with me and I am the one at family functions who is always snapping away! I have a bubbly, fun, approachable and energetic personality, so rest assured, when you book a shoot with me, be prepared for some fun! My goal in our shoots together is to make you as comfortable as possible, bring enjoyment and laughter and to truly capture those really sweet and special moments in time that you would like to freeze forever. Hi beautiful friends,

I’ve made the tough decision to take a step back from photography for a little while. Life has become incredibly full — running two other businesses and juggling family life means my energy and time are being pulled in other directions. As much as I love photography, I’ve had to listen to my heart (and my to do list) and focus on where I’m most needed right now.

Bloom & Zoom has been such a special part of my journey. I’m so grateful for every family I’ve met, every little giggle I’ve captured, and all the beautiful memories we’ve created together.

For now, I won’t be taking on any sessions or bookings - just pressing pause to give myself a little breathing space. But I'll be back ❤️

This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it feels like the right one for now. Thank you so much for all the love, encouragement, and support along the way. I’ll be sure to let you know if and when I pick the camera back up for clients again. 💛
