Last night Filef Sydney used their monthly "Cinema of the Resistance" film night to celebrate Italy's "Festa della Liberazione" and to highlight Italy's solidarity with the Cuban revolution. Two excellent short films were shown and their was a greeting to everyone from Cuba's ambassador to Australia. We also had a stirring address from Bob Treasure from the Australia Cuba Friendship Society (Sydney branch) https://www.facebook.com/groups/ACFS.Sydney
Santino once again brought his beautiful songs to the event, we are all looking forward to attending his album launch on Saturday the 23rd of May at Botany View Hotel, Newtown

Another great film night by Filef Sydney
Filef volunteers Jake, Elisabetta and Susanna were there early to help set up, then we enjoyed a free dinner at Addi Road Community Organisation's Wednesday Night Lights followed by a very interesting documentary, "Resistance101: Forging a New Movement for Palestine in Italy." This was followed by an interesting Q&A with Michael Coleman from Australia's own Freedom Flotilla team. Hope to see you all next month for the Anniversary of Italy's liberation from the N***s. Filef are planning to focus on the struggle of the Cuban people against US Imperialism.
