When the tide goes out, you see who's been building on sand.
This week two critical flaws were found in PHP, the language behind about 70% of websites, WordPress included. Governments, Wikipedia and even some BBC programme sites went offline while their teams patched as fast as they could. Cyber agencies told anyone who couldn't patch straight away to take their site down.
Now picture that as a small business owner. You find out from the news, and then you're stuck trying to work out which plugins and which host you're on, and who's actually meant to fix it.
That's why we build our clients' sites on Duda. It's a fully managed platform, so security patches roll out across the platform and you don't have to do them yourself. You run your business and your website keeps working.
If your site lives on WordPress and this week made you a bit nervous, comment "DUDA" and we'll send you a quick rundown of what moving across looks like. No pressure, no jargon.
