𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★★★ (Super easy walk from the 12 apostles carpark)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★★☆ (I went shooting there several mornings and an evening, I recommend to go for sunrise. The light is coming from the right which is not the best but you will have the place for yourself)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★☆☆ (Some fog most of the morning with some clearing just at sunrise)

𝕃𝕠𝕔𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟: Valensole plateau (on the D6 close to Lavandes Angelvin)

𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★★★ (On the side of the road with a carpark on the other side of the field)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★☆☆☆ (Great orientation to catch the sunset but it can be extremely crowded... Let's say you will not have any issues getting people walking in the field in yellow dresses in front of your camera, even if you didn't ask for it! 😅)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★★★ (The sky was promissing and I stayed a bit longuer after the light disapeared on the lavender field in order to capture some lovely clouds)

𝕃𝕠𝕔𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟: Valensole plateau (on the D8, close to the crossing with the D953)

𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★★★ (Easy to access from the road, there are only a few spots to park though)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★★☆ (Perfect orientation to catch the morning light on the lavender but be carefull as this is a popular spot for photographers so you might want to arrive early)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★★☆ (While there was a banger of a sunrise on the back, only little clouds appeared in the frame but this was enough to add texture to the sky)

𝕃𝕠𝕔𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟: Valensole plateau (on the D8 between la croix de Maisse and le grand logisson)

𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★★★ (On the side of the road, can't get easier than that)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★★☆ (Perfect orientation to catch the morning light on the lavender, plus this spot is not so popular so will likely get it for yourself in the morning)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★★★ (Clouds are not really comon at this time of the year in Valensole so geting those pink cloud on the horizon a few minutes before sunrise was unexpected!)

𝕃𝕠𝕔𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟: Three Sisters, Canmore

𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★★★ (it's a 15mn walk from the road to get to this part of the river with reflexions)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★★☆ (I went shooting there several mornings and evening when I was liveing in Canmore, I never saw any photographers but plenty of animals!)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★★★ (Perfectly crisp autumn evening. Those were the first snow of the year and the temperatures were still really good.)

𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★★★ (it's a 5mn walk down from the carpark)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★★☆ (Peter's lookout is a very famous spot for photographying Mount cook and the road that leads to it but if you walk down to the lake you will find some interesting compositions)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★★★ (Banger sunrise that morning with the clouds playing hide and seek with Mt Cook).

𝕃𝕠𝕔𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟: Moeraki Boulders

𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★★☆ (A 10mn walk to that weird rock formation, if you come early for sunrise you will not have to pay for the carpark at the restaurant... Otherwise you can park at the DOC carpark, it's a longer but easy walk)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★☆☆ (A very interesting rock formation, you can combine it with a visit to the penguin colony not too far from there and a lunch or dinner at Fleur's place for a great day out)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★☆☆ (Perfect sunrise just in front of the rocks. The tide was a bit high but gave me a good excuse to rock out the ND filters for some long exposure).

𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★★☆ (An easy 30-45mn walk to that incredible rock formation, a little more if you go to the caves at the end of the beach)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★★☆ (Usually not a lot of people on the beach, especially if you come for sunrise like for this shot)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★★☆ (Great quiet morning with no wind and the perfect time of the year to get the first light hitting the rocks).

𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★★☆ (I recommand to stay in the village as the drive can be "challenging" in winter at night)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★★☆ (Probably one of the most photogenic village in Savoie and there is not too many people in the morning which makes it even more special)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★★☆ (I stayed several hours shooting different exposures at different times of the morning in order to get different lightings on the mountain, sky and in the village).

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★★★ (an incredible view point over the Mont de l'aiguille with a lot of flat spots to camp)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★★☆ (Storm was due to come the afternoon that day from the west which allowed for the perfect banger conditions at sunrise).

𝔼𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤: ★★★☆☆ (it's a 4h canoe ride to get there or a boat ride but if you want to capture sunset you'll have to take the canoe option)

𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕪: ★★★★☆ (Incredibly peaceful scene when the boat is gone)

𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣: ★★★☆☆ (A lot of fires were happening that year, creating some hase that was quite hard to manage on camera)
