Hi I'm Mark,

I'm an amateur photographer based in Melbourne Australia, whenever I can, I like to get out of the city and explore this amazing country I live in. Outback landscapes, remote mountains and forest areas are my thing....as you will see through the site, I shoot a bit of everything, but travel, wildlife and landscapes consume most of my time. My photography has given me an outlet for creative skills I never knew I had and a passion for the amazing places it takes me. The camera has helped me look at the world in a different way. Leadbeater’s Possum. Our critically endangered fauna emblem for Victoria.
Volunteering at Healesville sanctuary, the nocturnal house is one of my favourite places. Having a day off today, I spent a bit of time trying to get my first decent image of these beautiful endangered possums. Not easy in the dark as they are super fast jumping through the trees.
