OH HEY, IT’S ME 🤍

I realised it’s probably time I properly reintroduced myself around here 👀

I’m Brooke — the face behind BrookeRenae Photography. Wedding photographer, professional third wheel, timeline fixer and calm-in-the-chaos human… who will very likely cry during your vows right alongside your guests 😂

I’m also a mum to 3 beautiful kids, which honestly explains both my ability to stay calm under pressure and my slight dependence on coffee hahaha.

I’m based in Perth & the South West and have been capturing weddings since 2013. More than anything though, I just genuinely love people and storytelling.

The real moments are my thing.
The nervous hand squeezes.
The teary parents.
The uncontrollable laughter.
The “oh my god we’re actually married” moments 🤍

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me reading fantasy romance books, hanging out with my chickens, gardening, drinking coffee or editing galleries late at night while the house is finally quiet 😂

Not every couple wants a wedding day that feels rushed, overly posed or spent performing for the camera.

Some just want to actually be present.

To soak in the feeling of the day.
To laugh with their people.
To hold hands a little longer.
To have photographs that feel like memories instead of moments staged for social media.

I know most couples aren’t models.

You’re not expected to know what to do with your hands, how to stand, or how to magically feel relaxed in front of a camera all day 🤍

A huge part of my job has nothing to do with taking photos.

It’s calming nerves before the ceremony.
Fixing veils and dresses without being asked.
Keeping things flowing when timelines shift.
Knowing when to gently guide you — and when to quietly step back and let moments happen naturally.

I want your wedding day to feel like you actually lived it.

Not like you spent the entire day performing for a camera.

The photos matter deeply to me, but so does the experience you have while they’re being taken 🤍
