If youāve landed here because youāre planning a 2027 wedding⦠hey, Iām Brooke. š¤
Iāve been sitting here trying to think of the ārightā way to announce that my 2027 books are open, but the truth is⦠Iām not very good at sounding like an advertisement.
So hereās the honest version.
My 2027 wedding diary is officially open, and I honestly canāt wait to meet the incredible couples whose stories Iāll get to be part of.
The funny thing is, almost every couple tells me the same thing before their weddingā¦
āWeāre awkward in front of the camera.ā
āI donāt know what to do with my hands.ā
āWeāre going to be so nervous.ā
And every single time, somewhere between the ceremony, the hugs, the champagne, and a few terrible jokes from me⦠those nerves disappear.
By the end of the day, Iām usually not just āthe photographerā anymore. Iām fixing veils, carrying bouquets, straightening ties, wrangling family members, cheering during your first kiss, and somehow becoming an honorary member of your bridal party.
Thatās my absolute favourite part.
Because at the end of the day, Iām not there just to take photos. Iām there because I genuinely love love, and getting a front row seat to one of the happiest days of your life is something Iāll never take for granted.
Of course I love creating beautiful photographs.
But what I love even more is becoming part of your day. Watching everything unfold, celebrating alongside the people you love most, and creating a gallery that takes you right back to every laugh, every happy tear, and every little moment you didnāt even realise was happening.
If youāre planning a wedding in Perth, the Peel region or the South West and youāre looking for someone whoāll slot into your day more like a friend than just another person youāve hired, Iād absolutely love to hear your story.
So pull up a chair and tell me everything.
How did they propose? Where are you getting married? Whatās the part of your day youāre most looking forward to?
I canāt wait to hear it. š¤
