ONE 🍓🍰

A gloomy autumn afternoon made bright by the beautiful colours of nature and one very special little girl. Amongst the falling leaves and earthy tones, we celebrated such a beautiful milestone.

A session especially close to my heart, having documented so many moments for this lovely family and watched little Lainey grow from her mum’s belly into a beautiful one-year-old. What a privilege it is to witness and preserve these chapters of life.

These milestones are more than photographs to me — they are memories, love and stories frozen in time, and capturing them is what makes this job so incredibly special. ✨🍁

One of the most important things to me during your newborn session is making sure you feel completely comfortable, relaxed and truly yourself. From the moment you walk into my studio, I want it to feel less like a photoshoot and more like catching up with a friend.

I love getting to know you, hearing about your family, your birth story, your little ones and all the beautiful chaos that comes with this season of life. Building that connection helps create genuine moments and allows me to capture your family naturally and honestly.

Your comfort means everything to me, especially during those early newborn days when life can feel overwhelming and emotional. I want my studio to feel warm, calm and safe for both you and your babies.

A little creative shift this week ✨

Stepping into editorial home imagery has been such a breath of fresh air — a slower pace, noticing the details, the light, the thoughtful design, and capturing a space with intention.

I’ve loved working on this project and can’t wait to deliver the full gallery to my client. It’s been such a fun and inspiring week behind the camera.

Sometimes trying something a little different is exactly what’s needed. 🤍

A newborn in your arms and a busy toddler at your feet. The beautiful chaos of raising boys.

Please never apologise for the toddler stage during your session. The cheekiness, the endless energy, the little chats, the running wild between cuddles — this is your family exactly as it is right now, and honestly, it’s one of my favourite things to capture.

They’re not “too much” for me. It’s such a privilege watching their personalities shine, seeing them arrive excited and happy, and getting to step into their little world for a moment.

I’m not here to capture perfectly posed, perfectly still moments. I’m here to capture your true family — the connection, the chaos, the cuddles, the laughter.
