EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!
In less than 3 weeks I along with 3 of my incredibly talented live music photography colleagues will be hosting our first exhibition of work as part of the TWANG Guitar festival in York.

Running from 16th-18th October, the weekend will feature headline sets from Dave Hole, Lucky Oceans and Nathan Cavaleri, and a whole heap of other amazing acts. All the details and tickets for all weekend, or the Friday and Saturday nights can be found here at The York Festival page

The exhibition will be open all through the festival at Bardo.york cafe on Avon Terrace, and is free to enter.

The prints have been prepared by the crew at Midland Camera House and look absolutely stunning.

Linda Dunjey, Rossco Hunter and Mark Francesca and Yours Truly will be on hand over the weekend, and will be holding a Q&A session, and no doubt telling a few stories on Sunday at 3.00PM. Come along, enjoy the festival, and see some stunning photography at the same time!

I have been in love (and I mean, true love, none of this wishy washy infatuation stuff) with Suzanne Vega since I saw her on her first major British tour at the Royal Albert Hall in 1986. I have been fortunate enough to catch her several times over the last 40 years, and she has always been an incredible, awesome live performer. Saturday night, on the last night of her Australian tour, was no exception, and this time I was able to photograph her as well!!

I've been very lucky to be able to shoot Rose Tattoo a few times over the last few years, Most recently last May at the Gosnells Hotel, where he was in fine form, so todays news hit a bit harder than expected. Never a fan of some of the comments he made from the stage, but always a powerhouse of a singer and entertainer, and will be sadly missed.

Back in Australia, and the jet lag is slowly wearing off, giving me a chance to catch up on everything!

While over in the UK, I had the opportunity to attend Greenbelt, a 4 day Arts, Activism and Faith festival, which I haven't been to in 40 years! My full review and photos are coming very soon (how much can a festival change in 40 years, watch this space to find out!!!), but first up, I was stoked to have the chance to interview someone I am a huge fan of, comedian, broadcaster and Neurodiversity advocate Robin Ince.
