Meet Nery Pablo 🇬🇹

nectarine - green apple - white grape - creme brulee

Our latest filter release comes from Nery Pablo López and his farm Guacamaya, tucked into the hills around Ajul in Guatemala’s Huehuetenango region, 1,900 metres above sea level.

Nery inherited the farm from his father, Lauriano, when he was just twenty. He named it after a macaw that regularly visited the property, “guacamaya” in Spanish. Today, Nery runs the farm with help from his family, with his dad still lending a hand with milling and drying.

This washed Caturra is selectively picked by Nery and his relatives, then processed and dried on the farm. In the cup, we’re finding nectarine, green apple, mango and raisin. Juicy fruit, lovely sweetness and plenty to enjoy as it cools.

From Nery’s hillside farm to our cooling tray, and into your morning brew.

Roasted for filter and available now. Link in bio.

Three fresh releases & a few familiar favourites on our singles lineup this week. ☕️ 🇵🇪 🇪🇹 🇬🇹

El Salvador, Peru and Guatemala take the spotlight this week, with a new espresso and two filters joining the shelves.

First up, Plan del Hoyo from El Salvador. Produced by Francisco de Sola, this washed Anacafe 14 brings mandarin, plum, raw sugar and milk chocolate to the espresso lineup. Plenty of sweetness to get around!

On filter, we’re welcoming Pintado Huamán from Peru, a naturally processed Gesha with passionfruit, strawberry, fresh cherry and rose. Fruity, floral and one we’re excited to share.

Alongside it is Nery Pablo from Guatemala. This washed Caturra brings nectarine, green apple, mango and raisin to the cup, a juicy addition to your morning brew.

You’ll also spot some familiar faces from last week in the mix, with more good drinking still on the shelves.

Swipe through for a look at what’s brewing.
Available online, from the roastery, STEREO STEREO & hero partner cafes this week.

S T E R E O S T E R E O 💥 N O W O P E N 💥

It’s been incredibly rewarding to finally open the doors to .stereo.coffee this week and see the space come to life. We’ve loved seeing familiar faces, meeting plenty of new ones and watching people settle in over a coffee on these chilly mornings.

Creating the space itself was really important to us. It is an extension of what we do at Twin Peaks and what we’ve built alongside and over the past ten years. A place shaped by our shared love of quality coffee, hospitality and all those small details that make the experience that little bit better.

Some very delicious coffees on the shelf & bar at the moment 🇰🇪 🇧🇮 🇨🇴 🇵🇪 🇧🇷 🇳🇮 alongside treats from long time partners 🫶🏼

Thanks to everyone who has dropped in so far, we’ll see you in the morning!

The Kainamui factory serves about 1,800 smallholder coffee farmers who are members of the New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society, about 600 of whom are women. The smallholders own an average of 200 trees on less than half a hectare of land.
Farmers in the area grow gravellea, macadamia nuts, eucalyptus, tea, corn, and bananas in addition to coffee.
The factory receives field visits from agricultural ministers and agro-companies who offer training programs. The F.C.S. also provides prefinancing for farmers to allow them to pay school fees, production costs, and in case of emergencies.

María Rosa Oidor runs family farm, Los Nogales (or ‘the walnut trees‘ in Spanish’), with her husband Alfonso Pillimué and their four children.
The farm is situated a thirty minute walk from the small town of San Antonio, where the couple also own a general store. Using the earnings generated by their shop, María Rosa and Alfonso saved the money needed to buy their two-hectare farm some twenty years ago.
Since then, Alfonso has remained in charge of the store, while María Rosa manages Los Nogales. During the harvest, María Rosa hikes up the mountain that leads to the family’s estate well before dawn, to check in on the crew of 15 or so pickers that assists the family every year and to organise the schedule for the day’s work.
She’s deeply respected by everyone she works with, as she’s just as likely to spend the morning preparing breakfast for her team and family, as she is to pick up a basket to help with the hand-selecting of coffee cherry.

This stunning lot is available now online🍒 🇨🇴

The Profiler Blend – Fresh Crop Update (July)

We’re excited to welcome back our El Salvador component to The Profiler with the arrival of fresh crop Finca El Paraíso, a standout washed Bourbon lot sourced through the Aida Batlle Selection Program.

This coffee is produced by Claudia Mathies, a fourth-generation grower whose family has owned El Paraíso since the 1800s. With support from Aida Batlle, Claudia has brought this Café Practices–certified farm into the spotlight, not only for the quality of its coffee but also for its commitment to community — including regular on-site medical visits and seasonal celebrations for local families.
In the cup, El Paraíso brings rich chocolate and toffee, balanced with sweet date and a delicate orange-like acidity — the perfect complement to the creamy, chocolate-driven base of Fazenda Pântano.

Sourced through Cafebras, this latest release returns The Profiler to its classic form — smooth, sweet, and built for milk, with the complexity to shine on its own.

Available now online, in store, from our city store & partner cafes from this week.
