One from Friday, when I made a quick dash to my mum’s place to cut flowers and even managed a few hours to play with them. Definitely needed after a bit of a blah few days. I also spotted this gorgeous depression era vase in the second hand shop in town, of course it insisted on coming home with me. 😬 But looking right at home with these gorgeous apricot roses.
Zinnias, celosia, roses, phlox, dahlias and cosmos all a welcome distraction from the world right now.

Long weekends are for gardening, creative workshops, lots of walks with the dog, movies and flowers! Loving a slightly cooler change this weekend as we say goodbye to summer. This bunch features a distinctly autumn vibe I think, while also celebrating some late summer faves such as roses, hydrangea paniculata, celosia, honesty, strawflowers, thalictrum and clematis.

Summery flowers on this 39 degree day, also the first day of the new school year, poor kids must have found it too hot to think!
Love these plummy pinks together, I’m amazed they kept their shape given the overwhelming heat. Happy to see the dahlias thriving in my mum’s garden, if not mine.

Summer vibes on the windowsill this evening.

A quick visit to my mum’s garden to pick the tallest echinacea and the very first of the dahlias. Looking forward to buckets of them soon!

Time for a floral faff today while summoning the energy to take down the Christmas tree. The thrift gods smiled on me with this jug I found in a charity shop just before Christmas. It perfectly suited these lovely echinacea, hydrangeas and phlox.

Playing with flowers is my perfect way to faff away an afternoon, so when I was asked to put together some images to celebrate the new Bloom fragrance, Nettare Di Fiori, my heart was very happy. I’m loving the sensuality of this fragrance, and the vintage vibe it evokes. Check out my Stories for a few more images I created for this fun collaboration.

Have you ever felt a fragrance was made just for you? I’m thrilled to be collaborating with on their third Bloom fragrance, Nettare Di Fiori, which I’m pretty sure was made for every flower loving girl like me out there. My hubby gave me the first Bloom fragrance for my birthday last year and so my anticipation levels were high for this new one. I’m loving the floral notes of rose and osmanthus, and the packaging is divine. This one will definitely be my new signature fragrance.
