My long weekend starts now! Took the day off to make it a super long 4 day weekend (thanks to the Monday public holiday!) Decided not to waste my Araluen season pass so spent the morning shooting tulips and other pretty flowers - and the tulips are finally in full bloom - such a huge change from last month. 🌷

Just came back from a relaxing 3 day weekend in Dunsborough. Got lucky with the weather - a little bit of rain but mainly dry (and cold!) But of course, as we all know, clouds are the best for sunsets and sunrises!

I try to make a little pilgrimage to Raeburn Orchards at least once a year, and today, due to it being my birthday (and thanks to the very welcome tradition of “birthday leave” at work) I got to spend the morning exactly how I wanted.
The storms over the weekend stripped most of the famous foliage, and the season is right at its end, but it was still nice to have a wander though the orchard - while I wasn't the only one out there, it was incredibly quite, which was nice (I really am not a fan of big crowds!)
Next year I’ll aim to visit a week or two earlier to catch the full autumn glow again.
