Welcome to the AFM Admin Panel, Kazi !
Straight out of Queens, New York, and proudly carrying his Bangladeshi roots, Kazi Hossain is the kind of guy who hears the word “nerd” and takes it as a compliment. Comics, manga, action figures and, most importantly, toy photography are all firmly part of his world.
Kazi may have started collecting only two years ago, but apparently nobody told him he was supposed to take it slow. The collection grew, the passion grew even faster, and somewhere along the way came that familiar obsession every toy photographer understands: chasing the next shot. You know the one. The pose is almost right, the lighting needs one tiny adjustment, and suddenly it’s two hours later.
His collection lives mainly in the 1/12 scale universe, with the occasional trip into the dangerous financial territory known as 1/6 scale. He doesn’t swear allegiance to a particular brand or crown one figure as his favorite. For Kazi, it has always been about enjoying the hobby, appreciating great figures, creating something with them, and connecting with the people who share that same enthusiasm.
But what really makes Kazi a great addition to Action Figure Maniacs is his genuine love for the toy photography community. He doesn’t just enjoy taking pictures. He believes in the art, supports the people behind the lens, and appreciates the friendships this wonderfully nerdy hobby creates across borders.
And now he’s bringing that energy to the AFM Panel.
So from all of us at AFM, welcome aboard, Kazi! We’re excited to have you as part of the madness.
More collectors. More photographers. More ideas. More trouble. Sounds exactly like AFM.
