We are all climbing the same hill,
Striving for the same happiness and contentment.

I know for a fact that there are times it can get hard for us to get out of bed,
And then walk around convincing everyone that we are fine when we are most definitely not.

And it’s ok not to feel ok,
It’s ok to surrender to those feelings of pain and self doubt.
Because pain is ultimately our best teacher.

Don’t surrender.

Depression is a wave.
One minute you’re cruising,
The next you’re engulfed in the tide.
Floating hopelessly,
Worn and defeated.

Ultimately, we are all in this wave together.
Take comfort in the fact that eventually the tide will pass,
You’ll get through it.

I promise.
