Are hashtags dead?

I thought so too… until we got approached by Melbourne-based ADA to cover the AFAC event in Perth along with their own CID event (via a hashtag of all things)

Our team pulled hard on this project and not only did we deliver videos the client loved, we had them finished before their team even landed back in Melbourne 🤖

Very happy with the outcome on this one. And maybe… just maybe… the humble hashtag still has a little life in it after all.

It was great to work with the on this project.

These youth centers and people within them are doing incredible things! Backed by , they’re creating safe, inspiring spaces for young people to connect, learn, and grow.

For me, this one hit close to home. As a teenager, it was a break dance class (also put on by the City) that kept me off the streets and gave me a sense of belonging. The passion i gained for dance is truly one of the main cornerstones that led me to be the person i am today!

The facilities may have grown and improved since then, but the why ... giving young people a place to feel supported and connected remains just as vital.

I’m proud I get to shine a spotlight on it now, through the lens of storytelling.

My journey in photography started in NYC shooting whoever would work with me throughout the city. 10 years have passed and while the quality of work has improved (like ... In a big big way haha) but the feeling remains the same.

Blessed to love this just as much as I did when I started.

Last performances are always charged with emotion, but this one carried a weight we didn’t expect.

It wasn’t until we arrived that we understood the deeper story behind the studio’s beginnings and the immense love that’s carried it through to this final show!

This one’s personal.

Awhile back, I filled in as a photography lecturer at TAFE—something I never expected to do. The room was full of fresh eyes and creative hunger and one of the students hit me with a simple question

“What’s your latest project just for you?”

I didn’t have an answer.

That stuck with me. Somewhere between running a business and chasing deadlines, I’d lost the spark the part of me that used to create purely for the love of it.

But that question lit something. This shoot is a flicker of that fire coming back.

Huge thanks to for trusting the vision and going full weapon mode. You gave me everything I hoped for and more - glad I got you on side bro💪🏽

And to my homie cheers for linking it all up and backing me on the shoot. Bloody love ya.
