Photos as home decor and how they help your child's sense of belonging.
In today's digital age, we capture countless moments through the lens of our smartphones. However, there's something incredibly special about printing and displaying family photos in our homes. Beyond being mere decorations, these images hold the power to shape our children's sense of belonging and self-esteem.
Visual Reminders of Love and Connection📸
Every photo on your wall tells a story, a story of love, joy, and togetherness. When your child sees these images daily, it reinforces their sense of belonging within the family unit. It's a reminder that they are an essential part of a loving and connected group. đź‘€This visual evidence of shared experiences and happy moments serves as a constant affirmation that they are cherished and loved.
One year, I decided to print out photos from our annual family portrait session and simply blu-tacked them to the doors of their wardrobe. I loved the idea that each night before they went to sleep, they would see this reminder of how much they are loved. Each year, I add a few more photos to the wardrobe doors. It's a beautiful timeline, watching our family grow together.
🤷When was the last time you printed out your photos?
