Lilypad Photography is Perth's most awarded family photography and newborn photography portrait studio. We believe your entire portrait experience should be easy, relaxed and fun. There will be no awkward poses, no formality and we absolutely don't expect your kids will sit still and behave. We'll have fun and in the process, capture real smiles, giggles and all the beautiful moments in between. At Lilypad we tailor each session to you and have a range of locations, including in our modern spacious studio and outdoors at your favourite location such as the beach, river or park. Isabella is fifteen months old, and in her mum's words, this family is "playful, cheerful, outgoing, loving ... with a side of totally nuts" 🤣 Just how we like them! It's totally adorable when she tries to wink and blinks both eyes at once instead and we loved just how much big brother Leo adores her. Beautiful photos of the four of them, a fairy-winged ice cream party for our Little Book of Yum, and a donation to The Kids' Cancer Project. Win Win.❤️

Their mum told us they had no family portraits at all. You’d be surprised how often we hear that.

Dad bought the gift certificate when Mum was pregnant with Macey, and Macey’s three now. It waited a while, but it couldn’t have picked a better night. Point Walter was gorgeous, with the light coming in soft over the river 💕

Like most, Mum said to focus on the kids, and we do, but we also focus on family, and that means Mum & Dad too 😉, and also like most . . . she loved them!!

Mum told us she did not really want to be in too many. We got one of all five anyway 🙂

Ragnar is nine, a kelpie cross lab, and he came home from the refuge less than a year ago. There are plenty of photos of him with the rest of the family and almost none with his mum, so we fixed that, as well as capturing his floppy ears and that beautiful face ❤️

Apollo is three, a French Bulldog, fun loving and energetic, and according to his mum a dog who likes to play, run and lie in the sun. She also says he has the most beautiful eyes, and she is not wrong. He is very food motivated, which made our job considerably easier, and his mum and dad came in for a few with him too 🐾

Mila has just turned nine months and she is a happy, friendly, squishy baby who LOVES food, her Mum's words and every one of them true. She is onto finger food now and feeds herself, which made her an easy and messy yes for our Little Book of Yum. Mum, Dad and Mila all came in so we could capture gorgeous photos of their little family before we let Mila loose on her Meatballs. ❤️
