Another from last night. Never tire of these views!

Watching aurora numbers all day was making me go crazy... Insane numbers all day, and i was just hopeful of some leftovers tonight! It held on and didnt dissapoint! Beams fought throught the twilight sky and came and went for the next hour or so, with a constant haze of colour in between. Was hard to find a photo without starlink all through it, this one may have a meteor I watched slowly drift across the sky.

What a s***y 2 weeks its been not being able to contact you all.

Long story short, the OG WWXW's was hacked, then Meta made a mistake and removed me, (Tom Marsh the only admin) as the page admin. Then after 5 failed attempts to get access again, I have given up. Therefore, here is the new West WX Watchers. Meta have been beyond difficult to deal with.

Can I make a WA wide plea, an Australian wide plea, and even a Worldwide plea, to you all and all your friends, family and anyone that cares, to FOLLOW us again!

To the subscribers on the old page, unsubscribe and re-subscribe here as there is no activity on the old page as no one has access to it.

What a wild arvo!
Took the little fella out for a chase today expecting a big show.
it didn't disappoint! Headed out past Gin Gin. Had a perfect view of the development near regans ford, but was chased away by a grumpy farmer... from then on the storm chased me back down brand hwy stopping near Muchea to grab these shots! Called it a day after getting caught on Great northern, being closed off due to fire started by lightning. had to turn around and drive through the insanity. Big winds, white out conditions, bit of aquaplaning.

Headed out northam way with high hopes last night.

The big show didnt eventuate, but still saw those beautiful beams dance across the sky for a little while.

what an epic day of chasing! left home about 1pm. headed north along brand hwy. heard reports of a severe storm going through Geraldton,so decided i would race up to a little town called Enneaba. bit north of there i was facing up to this beast of a storm! i soon started heading the same way as the truck not long after.

Im still about!

Been waiting for storms or aurora to fire up.
Dusted off the camera last night, hoping for an aurora.
Had to settle for milky way shoot before the moon rose.
hopefully some more action soon!

Quick chase out to Chidlow this afternoon! ended up with a supercell intercept! Watching insane cloud movement, Dodging falling branches and standing in the torrential rain to cool off as it passed over. Some of the clouds looked to be scraping the tree tops!

Nice little storm that just went through the eastern suburbs of perth! Chased it across the road to the park. 😂

While i was driving around the stirling ranges trying to find good vantage points, i spotted this little goanna on the road. I had to drive around it as it wasn't budging! 😂
Love the markings! looks like art.

Something different from all the Aurora and storm content! Blue skies!
Drove past hundreds of cars around Greens pool and Elephant rocks last week to find this beach at Madfish Bay was almost empty! Great spot for the kids. You can walk across the sand bar to the island for a snorkel or a fish. Magic spot!
