I just finished this gallery for J + D. What a stunning day surrounded by their nearest and dearest and their beautiful Lumi.

They wanted a day that felt like them and somehow incorporated their fur child, so after a micro wedding in the CBD, we headed north where Lumi met us for some full family portraits 🖤

J + D initially planned the big shebang - a huge wedding out in the swan valley with all their family & friends and gorgeous fur child, Lumi as ring bearer.

Somewhere along the way, they realised that just wasn’t them, and they wanted a small, intimate ceremony with just their nearest + dearest at the gorg

They walked into the ceremony together, were witnessed by just their immediate family, and then we walked around the CBD capturing photos that felt like them.

And of course the day wouldn’t be complete without Lumi, so we headed out to the pines for some portraits with her 🐶 What a day! Proof that you can plan the small, intimate wedding + it still be an absolute cracker of a day 🎊

Today officially marks my last wedding before maternity leave. I can’t believe in just a few short weeks we’ll be meeting the newest member of our club (and officially turning our tripod into a…quad pod?).

I can’t thank all my couples enough for their trust & love throughout this chapter - we purposely planned our second baby around wedding season in the hope to disrupt as few people as possible (which I achieved, cancelling just 2 weddings), and everyone has been so understanding.

Equally, the love I’ve felt at weddings, with my beautiful couples offering extra food, drinks, snacks and even gifts ahead of this next chapter proves I truly have the best couples in the world ❤️‍🔥

I haven’t shared a lot here, but I’m planning a home birth VBAC, which is a little bit more complex than a standard natural birth, but I have full faith in myself + birthing team 💛

I’ll be offline a lot over the next few weeks as I finalise galleries ahead of the birth, and get my head right ahead of this next challenge.

Bright, candid, soft + authentic.

That’s how M + J described my style when we first met, and honestly that feels like my photography style to a tee.

Most of my couples come to me saying “we aren’t models” or “we feel awkward in front of the camera.”

But the truth is, you’ll never feel this way with me. I’m not about posed moments, or having you perform for the camera. My secret sauce has and always will be about your love story, and capturing that legacy.

When you’re relaxed, your photos show that. And when you’re fully present, that authenticity shines through ✨

That was the thought process behind the wedding that was H + C. A beautiful wedding at where they took over the entire property for their fun filled weekend, where even their two dogs got to join in the fun.

Just two Busso kids who didn’t meet until they were both in the big smoke - proof that the universe will make it happen if it doesn’t happen naturally on its own 🖤

What an incredible day, so filled with love (srsly those speeches were too funny / heartwarming, even bringing a tear to this photographers’ eye 🥹).
