The final piece to our puzzle, our little Nils ❤️

After I suddenly developed pre-eclampsia at 36+3, we welcomed our newest little addition to the world a little sooner than expected, on June 19th 🥰

3210 grams and 52cm of pure perfection, and yes, we are all very very smitten with him 😍😍

We're both doing well, him learning how to properly latch, and I relearning how to breastfeed a newborn while adjusting to life with four little ones.
Life is good 🥹🥰

Also, don't make my mistake of not having hospital bags packed and ready ahead of time! I had only semi started to pack two days prior to his arrival, and it just led to unnecessary stress of trying to instruct hubby of where to find remaining items 😅😬

There’s this moment during pregnancy where it hits you - you’re never alone.

You carry this little life with you, through morning coffees, late night cravings, and quiet Sunday walks.

And even before they arrive, you already know them in a way no one else ever will.

These are the moments I feel so lucky to capture - just real, honest love in the making ✨️

Those eyes… they stop me in my tracks every single time, and I've wanted to get photos like these of him since he was a newborn, with his beautiful eyes that always remind me of my dads.

There’s a spark of curiosity in them that makes me wonder what he’s thinking about, what he's dreaming of, what little story he's making up in that busy mind of his. Sometimes, he looks at me, and it’s like he’s seeing right through to my soul. Then there are other times where he's looking at me just to see how far he can push my buttons 😅

I never want to forget this version of him - full of mischief, always coming up with fun ideas, and totally himself.

There’s something about a newborn that slows time down.

The world fades into the background, and all that matters are these quiet moments and the gentle rise and fall of her chest as she breathes, the way she nestles perfectly into loving arms, the tiny noises that make everyone stop and smile.

She travelled all the way from Pemberton for her session, and what an honour it was to capture her gorgeous bump 🤎

The beach, the sunset, the chats and laughter we had - it all came together to create something truly special.

Pregnancy feels like it lasts forever, but somehow, it’s over in a heartbeat.

For now, soak it all in. These are the moments that will stay with you forever ✨️

✨️EIGHT✨️

I still can't quite believe that on Monday it was eight years since she entered the world, and it's a funny mix of feeling like just yesterday I first laid eyes on her, while simultaneously being forever ago, it has indeed been an adventure filled journey.

She's without a doubt the most inquisitive soul I've ever met, and is on a constant quest to learn about seemingly everything, so our house is filling up with different work books and fact books to keep that search for knowledge satisfied 🤍

She has the kindest heart and is such a loving and caring to her brothers, even when they drive her nuts.

I don't know if I ever anticipated how big the toilet humour would be from her, and yet here we are 😂

And yes, the song choice was hers 😅

It's such a weird and bittersweet feeling to be going on maternity leave at the end of May, knowing that it'll be a little while before I get to shoot gorgeous sessions like this again.

You might have noticed that I haven't shown my fave as much the last few months, and here’s the reason for it 🤭

Our lives are about to get a whole lot busier for me and my family … because we’re adding another little boy to the mix in July!

We already know it’s going to be absolute chaos, and we're so here for it.

The noise, the mess, the lack of sanity (lol), and most of all, the love that's all part of this wild season of life, and we wouldn’t change a thing.

We can’t wait to meet you, little man. You’re already so loved. ❤️

This is also why I will be going on leave at the end of May for a few months to soak up our very own newborn bubble, hence why I'm not taking on any new bookings until further notice 🫶

Love in the way your hands cradle your belly. Love in the whispered words only they can hear.

Love in the dreams you have for them before they’ve even taken their first breath.

And one day, when they’re snuggling into you, when they're running into your arms, when they’re saying “I love you” back, you’ll remember... this love started long before they arrived. 🤎

✨️ FIVE! ✨️

It feels just like yesterday that I first laid eyes on him, and his big beautiful blue eyes have mesmerised me ever since.

He's got the biggest, most caring heart, and is a Pisces boy through and through.

Will never pass up the opportunity for a cuddle, and will often come up and kiss my hand or leg " just because", which I'll never tire of, and I hope he never stops 🥹

Fart jokes are a big favourite, especially the ones he makes up himself, and that makes little to no sense 😅

We couldn't be prouder, and while it's bittersweet watching him grow and reaching this milestone, we sure do love being the ones who get to do it ❤️
