We were there as Western Australia’s two official clubs representing Australia’s long-lost performance car manufacturers, HSV/HDT and FPV/Tickford, joined forces for a Sunday cruise through Perth’s northern coastal suburbs and out to the iconic Bindoon Bakery!

There was a little bit of everything on display, from the cars of the ’80s through to the final production models, with everything from the legendary inline-six engines to the big V8s representing both sides.

It was fantastic to see these two communities come together to celebrate the cars, the history and the passion that keep these Aussie performance legends alive.

If this first joint cruise is anything to go by, the next one can only be bigger and better — especially once the weather clears up!

TARMAC West’s 2026 Celebration of Motorsport was once again a massive turnout, with an impressive collection of cars filling the venue.

With the rain clouds overhead, we made our way around early to capture some of our favourite cars, along with the HSV Owners Club of WA display, before heading trackside to catch the action.

It was a great day celebrating all things motorsport, and we’re looking forward to sharing more of the images from the event!

Our images from the final TARMAC West 2026 stage are now available!

After a long and draining four days, it all came down to these final three runs.

With the surface still a little wet and not much heat in the road, it was a true masterclass in driving skill. Despite the challenging conditions, competitors for the most part managed to keep their cars on the road—and, more importantly, facing in the right direction!

These final runs delivered plenty of tension, commitment and some seriously impressive driving as everyone fought to put down their best times.
We did our best to capture everyone out on track, but once you dial the shutter speed down to double digits it's harder to capture images that meet our standards.

Our images from the TARMAC West Perth City Sprint are now available!

Being the first cars out on a wet course, competitors started out a little cautiously. But as the track began to dry, the pace quickly picked up!

We were treated to some great driving throughout the day, with competitors pushing hard despite the challenging conditions. Thankfully, there were only a few incidents on track, meaning there wasn't too much downtime between the action.

We did our best to capture everyone out on track, but once you dial the shutter speed down to double digits it's harder to capture images that meet our standards.

Our images from the DRIFTWEST Practice Day are now available!
We headed out to MOTORMALL Raceway to cover the DRIFTWEST Practice Day, where drivers had open reign on the main track and infield.

Being a practice day there were plenty of different skill levels out on display from the beginners (C), intermediates (B) and up to the more advanced drivers (A).
We did our best to capture everyone out on track, but once you dial the shutter speed down to double digits it's harder to capture images that meet our standards.

Our images from D1WA Drift Round 4 (PRO) are now available!

We headed out to MOTORMALL Raceway to cover Round 4 of the D1WA Pro Drift Series, where drivers took on the fabled Turn 7 layout.
The challenging section threw everything at the field, starting with a high-speed sweeping right-hander before switching direction into a tight left-hand hairpin and finishing with an open right-hand hairpin.

With the track still a little wet early in the day, practice had drivers on their toes, with plenty of spins and more than a few taking an unexpected trip to the beach. But as the day warmed up, so did the competition.

By the time qualifying rolled around, the drivers were dialled in and ready to send it. Once the battles began, the pace and aggression stepped up, with some seriously impressive driving on display.

Round 4 delivered plenty of action, big commitment and sideways excitement from start to finish.
