Reflective moods. There is something about the calmness of water and the peace it brings. When water is calm, light bounces from it and we see a mirror image of what is reflected. It creates a serene, tranquil place that can soothe the soul and bring clarity to the mind.

What is it about trees that fascinates me? Is it the wild, disarray of branches that splay aimlessly from a gnarly trunk? The strength and resilience shown on it's never ending mission to reach unimaginable heights? Maybe the diversity and individuality, the ability to bare fruit, flowers, nuts, syrup; shed leaves, shed bark. The extraordinary capacity to produce timber, paper, oil, resin, chocolate and oxygen!. Trees symbolize growth, strength, stability, peace and wisdom. Trees have the potential to reduce stress, lower blood pressure and improve mood. It could be all of the above and more. I just look at them as beautiful photographic subjects 🙂.
