There is so much beauty in watching a woman birth her baby. This mumma listened to her body, trusted her cues, and her little boy wasted no time making his entrance into the world.

Every birth I get to witness leaves an imprint on my heart. The honour of holding space in those moments, of watching a woman step fully into herself, is something I will never take for granted.

A beautiful sunset session with this gorgeous mum and her little girl, while baby brother was still happily growing in mum’s belly. The energy and creativity little miss brought to the shoot had me smiling the whole time. She had plenty of pose ideas of her own! 💕

Since this session, their sweet baby boy has made his arrival earthside, and it has been such an honour to support this beautiful family both behind the camera and as their doula.

This was the second birth I’ve had the absolute privilege of capturing for and this little lady truly arrived on her own terms. After giving Mum a few signals a couple of nights earlier that she was nearly ready (and then deciding to pause), she made her entrance on the 15th of October, right when the moment was perfect for her.

I’m endlessly grateful to witness families grow and to capture these truly magnificent, once-in-a-lifetime moments 💛🍯
