It’s. Gotta. Be. Fun.
Toddlers cannot and will not sit and smile at the lady with a camera they just meet, but after a stroll and a few “warm up” poses, I suggest some games, or something silly like tickling daddy and suddenly the little cheeky grins come out and with them their personalities 👏🏼
Let’s be real, you don’t want their stock standard smile at the camera, you want their joy, the cheeky grins and the giggles.

Occasionally I’ll have a family come in for a newborn session and dad thinks he’s just there to watch the baby.. but no no no, my style will always be a big focus of baby in arms. It’s where they feel safest, it’s naturally what mum feels called to do and it’s so sweet to look back and truly see how tiny they were. So dads expect least a few photos to be taken of you aswell 😋
