One of the questions I get asked all the time is, when is the best time for newborn photos?

The truth is, there isn’t one perfect answer. If you love those sleepy, fresh newborn images, I usually recommend the first couple of weeks. But with my relaxed, lifestyle approach, there is much more flexibility.

The one thing I do recommend? Booking while you’re still pregnant. Most families secure their spot a few months before their due date 🤍

I’ve been a little quiet on here while we soak up life on the road. Here are a few snaps from our trip so far 🌺

Feeling really grateful to be exploring our beautiful country. It’s been such a nice reset to slow things down and just be together.

We’ve still got another week or so to go before we head home and I’m already feeling excited for the beautiful sessions I’ve got coming up when I’m back 💛

The “right time” for newborn photos looks different for every family.

Some babies are photographed in those fresh, sleepy early days, tiny, curled up and brand new.

Others, like this sweet boy at 7 weeks, are deliciously chubby, more expressive and starting to share those heart-melting little smiles 🥰

Both are beautiful. You get to choose the season that feels like yours. Now booking April - July babies ✨

A few months ago, Mum and Dad began their new chapter by the sea, and with it came saying goodbye to our childhood home.

We made so many wonderful memories within those walls. The kind you don’t fully appreciate until you’re standing there for the last time ❤️

This little photoshoot was our way of honouring it all. The ordinary days that turned out to be everything.

It reminded me of how quickly these seasons pass and why photos matter.
